September in Vancouver wasn’t the blockbuster comeback we hoped for, but much like this unexpectedly golden fall, the market still has its bright spots.

East Van, ever the scrappy sibling, showed more hustle. Detached homes averaged just under $1.7M – still serious, but a world away from the palaces across town. Condos and townhomes here are moving at a steadier clip, keeping the market on firmer ground.
