In Loving Memory

Candice Charron

1972 - 2025

It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beautiful Blu teammate, Candice Charron, who succumbed to cancer on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025.

Candice’s passion for real estate was matched only by her joie de vivre. Her kindness, energy, and sparkling spirit lit up every room, and every heart, she touched. Candice was the radiant, joyful half of Bilash & Charron, and her presence made our Blu family shine brighter.
Things will never be the same without her, but her warmth, laughter, and love will forever remain a part of who we are.

Our deepest love and condolences go out to her partner Charles, family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know her. 💙
A Tribute from Charles Bilash
To My Beautiful Candice Michelle Charron (1972–2025)

Some words should never have to be written, and yet here I am… heart in pieces and trying to share what feels impossible.

My beautiful partner, wife, lover, and soulmate, Candice Michelle Charron, has left this world, but her light will forever live in mine.

It’s taken me days to find the strength to write these words.

Letting our world know that my beautiful partner, my wife, my soulmate, Candice Charron, has passed away has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.

She left us last week, and though my heart wasn’t ready to let her go, I know I must share this with all those whose lives she touched so profoundly.

I was blessed beyond measure to have had 14 of the most incredible years a man could ever ask for. I never proclaimed to have owned her heart for myself alone as it was far too free and beautiful to ever be owned in that way. But I was deeply honoured to share in its rhythm. I felt it beating against my chest, cherished it, and held it close for what now feels like only a flicker in time.

Candice had a vision, a purpose, and a light that radiated through everything she did. She was here to live, to laugh, to share, to inspire, to teach, and above all, to love. And that, she truly did.

Her love wasn’t just for me. She loved deeply, freely, and often, finding joy in the smallest, simplest moments of life. Whether it was a kind word, a quiet sunrise, or the laughter of a friend, she saw beauty everywhere and reminded others, especially for me to see it too.

When we first met, her authenticity and the beautiful energy that surrounded her felt like a light so bright it was overwhelming — yet impossible to resist. She pulled me into her world with a force that changed the meaning of life itself in ways I could never have imagined.

Throughout our journey together, she taught me more than I ever thought possible. With her heart always on her sleeve and that radiant positivity that seemed to glow from within, she had this way of making everything feel like it was going to be okay, no matter what. As long as she was by my side, there was nothing we couldn’t face, and she never had plans to be anywhere else.
Together, we began the most amazing adventure of all.. a life built on love, laughter, discovery, and endless moments. We traveled, explored, worked side by side, and filled our days with family, friends, events, and so much laughter.

Our friends often said that we managed to do and experience more in our 14 years together than most people do in a lifetime — and I believe they were right. Every chapter with her was rich with adventure, with purpose, with the kind of memories that always make me reflect on what we did together and the beautiful journey of it all.

Her silliness, her quirks, the way she could turn the simplest moments into magic, those were the pieces of her I could never live without. No matter what obstacles came our way, she was a force and a beacon of positivity that always found a way to overcome.

Our journey together wasn’t just in life, but also in our work and purpose. Both of us were seasoned and experienced Realtors, each from different companies when we first met. In 2018, we decided to join forces and created B&C Real Estate Group with Blu Realty — a true collaboration of yin and yang.

Our strengths and weaknesses complemented each other perfectly, creating a balance that made us stronger together than we ever were apart. The creativity, drive, and energy we shared fuelled years of passion and success. We built a business founded on trust, care, and connection and not just with each other, but with our clients, many of whom became dear friends.

We became a powerhouse team, consistently top-performing, award-winning, and respected. What mattered most to us was that we did it together. Our shared vision, our laughter, our long days and late nights working side by side — those were the moments that defined us. We didn’t just sell homes; we built relationships, memories, and a legacy of integrity and heart in everything we touched.

Beyond the love we shared, one of the most beautiful chapters of our story was how Candice became such an important part of helping me raise my two young kids at the time. She didn’t just step into their lives, she embraced them completely, with endless patience, kindness, and joy.

She had such a love for young people and growing minds. She brought adventure into their world and always planning something special, always finding new ways to spark their imagination and fill their days with laughter and wonder. Whether it was a road trip, a creative project, or the countless times spent at playgrounds and exploring all the wonderful things this city had to offer, she turned every outing into an adventure to remember.

Her love extended further through her work with the Big Sisters Society, where she mentored and cared for a young girl who needed guidance, stability, and love. We often brought all three kids together for weekends of laughter, curiosity, and discovery — moments that filled our home with fun, excitement, and energy, the kind that only Candice could create.

In every sense, she gave of herself completely — not because she had to, but because that’s who she was. Her heart had no boundaries when it came to loving, nurturing, and inspiring others. Those whose lives she touched were forever blessed to have been loved by her in the most genuine way imaginable.
She believed in herself… truly, deeply, and without hesitation. She believed in her goals, her dreams, her vision boards, and she made everything she imagined come to life. She had this beautiful way of manifesting her world exactly as she saw it and not through faith, but through intention, focus, and a profound sense of willing things to happen.

Candice only ever wanted one simple thing in this life which was to “be liked”. That was her humble wish. But what she never fully realized was that she was so much more than liked. She was loved deeply, unconditionally, and beyond her own imagination by everyone around her. From the animals whose noses she kissed to the friends and souls she lifted with her laughter, energy, and authenticity, she left pieces of her light everywhere she went. She didn’t just enter people’s lives, she changed them.

Our anniversary last year began in celebration, but it soon brought news that would change everything, Candice was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer.

We were shattered, heartbroken, and afraid. I’ll never forget that moment with her head resting on my chest, my arms wrapped around her, both of us in tears as we tried to make sense of the pain. But even through that heartbreak, she found her strength. From the very next day, she changed gears determined to heal, to fight, to manifest her health, and to continue her journey with that same unstoppable spirit she carried through everything in life.

She worked tirelessly every single day continuing to live, love, and laugh through it all. She fought with everything she had with her heart, her will, her intention, and her light. But after a long and courageous battle, in those final weeks, her light began to grow dimmer, and her hand grew weaker as she held mine every night at the hospital.

In those final moments, with tears streaming down my face and my hand gently on her cheek, I whispered to her: “I love you, Candice Charron, with all my heart. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. I will miss you beyond words. Please, Babe… it’s time now. Continue your journey. I will be okay, and time will heal me. You did good, Babe… you did real good.”

With her mother by her side, she left this world with the same grace she lived by on October 23, 2025.

I can’t help but believe that her power of intention reached beyond this world that perhaps she saw something greater waiting for her, something beyond our understanding.

Forever my love, my soulmate, my beautiful Candice.♥️💔
