Mustafa Akhtar has always been about people! His passion for community started early, whether it was door-knocking as a kid to sell fund-raising tickets, playing Cricket, flying kites with neighbours, or simply trying out new recipes with his mom to share with family and friends. He’s always understood that connection is at the heart of a great home.

With a Bachelor of Science degree and a Certificate in Cultural Planning from UBC, Mustafa has spent years shaping spaces where people don’t just live, they thrive. He put his creative ideas to work at UBC’s Arts and Culture District before moving to Planning and Development department. Mustafa is proud to have left an ever-lasting mark on campus through projects that created safe spaces for people, and enriched community.
At British Columbia Institute of Technology, Mustafa earned an Advanced Diploma in Real Estate where he honed his ability to expertly navigate the housing market while keeping the spirit of community alive.

A book-lover, a dedicated volunteer, and someone who can talk your ear off about the best neighbourhoods in any given city, Mustafa is always in search for his next adventure around the globe.

Fluent in Hindi and Urdu, he understands that home is more than just four walls, it’s about belonging. And as a proud Canucks fan no matter how rough the ride, he knows that Real Estate, like hockey, is all about strategy, passion, teamwork, and of course a whole lot of fun!
