Blu Crew Christmas 2025

A Thank You, As We Close Out the Year

As we wrap up another year, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

To our clients who trusted us with big decisions, to our partners and collaborators who showed up again and again, and to our fellow agents and colleagues who make this work feel human. We’re deeply grateful.

It’s no secret that this year (and honestly, the last couple) haven’t been easy. The market shifted, uncertainty lingered, and the pace was slower than many of us were used to. But we also recognize that real estate, like life, moves in cycles. We’ve had great years before, and we know they’ll come again.

What’s mattered most through this stretch isn’t the numbers, it’s the relationships. The conversations. The referrals. The patience. The trust. As a small, independent brokerage, we don’t take any of that lightly. Every email, call, introduction, and word of encouragement has meant more than you probably realize.

We’re heading into 2026 clear-eyed and optimistic. Wiser, more focused, and still genuinely excited about the work we do and the people we get to do it with. We believe in what’s ahead for our clients, our city, and our community.

Thank you for being part of our story, especially in the years that test you a little more. We’re looking forward to what’s next and to building it together.

With gratitude,

The Blu Team

Deals & Dreams

Whether you’re searching for a stunning dream home or a deal too good to pass up, we’ve got you covered. Every month, we handpick the most breathtaking properties and unbeatable bargains on the market, bringing you the best of both worlds.

#318 – 221 Union Street, Vancouver

Style, space, and serenity come together in Mustafa‘s south-facing V6A loft. This 649 sq ft gem features polished concrete floors, 9’ ceilings, oversized windows with leafy Union Street views, a covered balcony, and a spa-like soaking tub. V6A is a pet-friendly building with a gym, concierge, and low strata fees, all steps from transit, Michelin dining, and entertainment. And for $569,500, this vibrant home is a very smart long-term investment.
5941 Sandy Hook Road, Sechelt

Brought to market by our own Tracy Uchida, a Sunshine Coast local who knows a dreamy spot when she sees one. Perched above Sechelt Inlet, this contemporary home pairs modern design with unforgettable ocean and mountain views. Oversized windows and full-height sliding doors frame shimmering water and sunsets from every angle. Inside, 12-foot ceilings, custom millwork, and a Stuv wood-burning fireplace create a bright, elevated atmosphere, while a 798 sq ft glass-railed balcony extends the living space outdoors—perfect for taking in passing boats, wildlife, and those pretty Sechelt skies.

Out & About:
The Blu Cru At One Under

For our annual Blu Cru holiday outing, we hit the indoor links at One Under to nosh, sip, swing and celebrate a year of ups, downs, and all-arounds. From birdies to bogeys (and the occasional mulligan), it was a great reminder that real estate, like golf, is all about playing the long game. Grateful for colleagues we genuinely want to spend time with all year long, because when you've got the right team, even the hazards feel manageable. A total hole-in-one of a night!

Doing Our Part and Giving Back
Blu Realty Gives Back
This year, we asked the Blu Cru to give generously to the Food Bank, donating canned and non-perishable goods to help support neighbours in need. Food banks across the Lower Mainland are facing record demand, with hundreds of thousands of working families, seniors, and kids relying on their support every month. While we spend our days helping people find homes, many in our community are struggling to put food on the table. We’re proud of the team for stepping up and showing that generosity is always in season. If you have the means, we encourage you to do the same.

Agent of the Month:
James Sutton

James is a hustler and pickle meister with an endlessly positive attitude. He has a spark that’s impossible to miss, not because he demands attention, but because of his natural warmth and curiosity. If connecting with people were an Olympic sport, James would be on the podium. James spent 20 years in radio broadcasting, winning audiences over with his optimism and ability to listen. It’s a skill that serves him — and his clients — exceptionally well in real estate.

Local Spotlight:
Jeon

A new addition to Davie Village, Jeon delivers an elevated take on Korean cuisine in the former Moxie’s space in The Sandman Hotel. It’s a seriously sexy upgrade, with an effortlessly cool vibe. Jeon is from the same talented team behind Vancouver’s popular Tom Sushi, but there’s not a single piece of nigiri on the menu. Instead, you’ll discover Korean comfort foods like bibimbap and fried chicken spun with precision. Bring your mates and share all the plates!
