The Crane warehouse building dates back to 1911 and was built for the Chicago-based Crane Company. In 2008, Metroliving by the Townline Group converted the building into residential loft style apartments.

The Bowman Block was originally built in 1906. This building was the first constructed on the east side of Beatty Street. In 2007, The Salient Group converted the building into loft apartments.
