• Complete change-of-address forms at the post office.

• Send notices to friends, relatives, credit cards, banks, and creditors.

• Instruct BC Hydro and your Cable and Internet providers to disconnect your services the day after you move, and have the new service activated before you arrive in your new place.

• Book movers / moving truck.

• Inform ICBC of your change of address.

• Notify employers (past and present) of your new contact information.

• Contact your insurance company and talk with your agent about any necessary changes to your policy and about having it switched over.

• Purchase locks for your new place or arrange to have them installed once you move in.
