The Cornerstone

2525 Quebec Street

Vancouver
The Cornerstone started its life as the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church built in Romanesque Revival style in 1909. The building was used as a Church until 1989, then intermittently for several years as a theatre and performing arts venue. In 1994 the church was converted into the residential complex it is today.

The lofts feature unique aspects of the original church. Depending on the unit these features range from 27’ vaulted ceilings to ornate two storey windows, turrets, exposed brick, exposed beams, and more. It’s features like this that got it voted one of the top 11 coolest barn and church conversions by HGTV!

With its history, the loft design, and its location, The Cornerstone is one of Vancouver’s coolest loft buildings.
