About The Butterfly

The Butterfly is Westbank's newest building designed by Bing Thom Architects. Each floor features exterior courtyards, with every third floor featuring a custom tree planter. The goal of the project is to "build homes in the sky, housed within a vertical neighbourhood of outdoor spaces, a sense of being one with nature and of belonging in your built environment". The Butterfly uses natural light, natural ventilation, and natural forms. Curved glass expands your horizons, and open air breezeways allow sunlight and stars to shine through. Completion is currently scheduled for 2022.
