The Classical Chinese Garden will present a day of activities for visitors of all ages. Highlights include three special horticultural tours led by master gardeners, lessons on how to use worms to create fertilizers, make your own cleaning products with lemon peels, and grow vegetable plants at home. Adults and children alike will be able to make floating boats out of tea leaves and the proprietors of Peking Lounge will present a model balcony garden that's designed with the principles of classical Chinese gardens.
Brewery & The Beast will take you on a culinary adventure sure to astound your taste buds. Chefs will create dishes using the highest possible quality ingredients for the conscientious consumer. Meats featured will be hormone and antibiotic free, ethically raised, and sourced from farms on Vancouver Island, the Lower Mainland, the Fraser Valley, and select farms in Northern Alberta.
Brewery & The Beast offers guests information on local farms and specialty food producers, unique dishes from top Vancouver chefs and restaurants, delicious beverages, and a true celebration of all things meat.

A 21 block festival composed of several mini-festivals, over a dozen community supported stages with dozens of bands, a full kids zone and other kids activities throughout the site. Things like kids’ yoga, button making, art zones, bike lessons, and chalk art. Three full artisan markets, a fashion show, roller derby, dance zones, as well as hundreds of non-profits, local artisans and businesses.

With 1800 artists, 300 concerts and 35 venues, the TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival is Vancouver's signature festival and British Columbia's biggest music and arts presentation.
Over eleven days—June 21 - July 1, 2013—the world's best jazz, funk, Latin, fusion, and world music artists perform at venues big and small, indoor and outdoor across the city.
There are many free events including Downtown Jazz at the historic grounds of the Vancouver Art Gallery and Robson Square during the opening weekend, Canada Day on Granville Island, and David Lam Park Jazz Weekend on closing weekend.

The Vancouver Collector Car Show Sale + Auction will mark its inaugural event June 22+23 2013 at the PNE Fairgrounds. Over 12 acres of indoor and outdoor space will be transformed into the largest celebration of the collector car hobby that Vancouver has ever seen. Free the Children and Grouse Mountain present the Whistler Water One Climb on Saturday, June 22nd.
The One Climb is an inspiring one-day event to raise money to bring clean water to over 10,000 people in Kenya. Wear blue and join the party at the base of the Grouse Grind, then Climb with hundreds of others. The dance party continues at the top, ending with the amazing Spencer West.
